Jeep Wrangler CJ (work in progress) . An older Jeep CJ Wrangler . my signature... My first final draft of this CJ. Points of pride: I didn't have to rip apart the yellow one to make it! Working steering, body resembles a later CJ fairly well... although i did cheat and just build the same jeep as the yellow one (just in red) and make small changes along the way. But TJ's and CJ's are proportionately similar, so I feel it works. Also I loaded this one with accessories, and lifted it a few studs higher than the yellow TJ. This is my "trail rig". Accessories: CB antenna, winch, frond brush guard, overhead lights, high lift jack mounted on hood, and that little black tube where the passenger side mirror should be is a snorkel, something some off-road vehicles use to raise the air intake so you can ford rivers. Points of shame: No pliable suspension. I'm terrible at building suspensions with steering, and I'm still working with technic parts from the 80's.. (anyone remember the big red technic helicopter??) So, I've decided that I can live without working suspension on my MOC's. key differences between this CJ and my yellow TJ: The headlight/frond grille setup, and the way the fenders meet the hood. The hood is more curved. The door openings are shaped differently. The roll bar is completely different. There's other things, but they are all minor. Tell me what you think, good or bad! Be critical, please!
