The Atlantean Minifig Gallery . Lets end my drought by uploading this MOC! Anyway, this is my gallery of the Atlanteans! Yes, it is a NEO War MOC, not the new LEGO Atlantis line! Anyway, go on. . The Atlanteans, a pure, clean, fancy civilisation that loves peace as well as the water that makes the planet they call "Mysterion". This planet suffered a global flood that caused Mysterion to be a water planet, with the ruins of an alien civilisation that the present human Atlanteans attempt to uncover. The present Atlanteans live on Islands, ice caps, under water and over it. An Atlantean person is a good swimmer, and males don't really grow facial hair anymore, if they did, he'd trim it cleanly. This Gallery will look into how I build my Atlantean soldiers. The Atlantean Footmen, common troops of the Atlantean Armies. Footmen are agile troops, capbale of avoiding certain shots. The footman on the left wears a Marine issue helmet (fully enclosed helmet for breathing in any place) and wields an Aztaff, a pole that shoots a blue kind of neutron aswell as make a good melee weapon (for jabbing/clubbing with the tip. Footman on the right wears a standard helmet (light and dosen't reduce sight) and holds a MPS carbine, unique Atlantean guns that shoots ammunition called "Shards", crystals that slightly expand over wounds and freezes into blood streams for a cold hearted death or can immobilise targets and shoot fragment shots like a Shotgun. Footmen also double as drivers. Footmen will vary from region to region depending on customs. These two lads are standard Military units of Mysterion. The Regular Officiers of the footmen and various other units. The 2nd to lead (left) and the 3rd in Charge (right). I haven't included the higher 1st in Command as I can't find the pieces to make him look Knightly, strong and noble. The way the Atlanteans group their units into squads involves having 12 men in a full battle group, spliting the group between the 1st and 2nd officers, and then breaking the units up into 3 squads under the 3 leaders. 3rd in Charge officers are the tougher cut of the footmen. They wear a special communication device on backs for far away messages. 2nd to Lead Officers are posh, rich and are excellent leaders. They wear epaulets to show their privilage, and holds an Atlantean Sabre. Both officers are always seen in squads. The 12 unit groups can consist of any unit, depending on mission. To better support the Armies, the Atlanteans hire workers. We have here a base support, a pilot and a field support. The base support wear little armour but she knows a bit about fighting along with useful skills, the pilot who wears pilot gear and can fight a bit too and knows how to fly. But Field support knows enough fighting to survive the battles for various tasks of war. The first 2 are easy to capture or kill dishonourably (some thuggish mercs like to kill these people or nab them for sinister purposes). These are the items that Field support would wear on their backs: the Medical kit for medics, toolbox for mechanics, explosives for demo support, and radio pack for comms. And one more device... The portal mark! Observe the image below! Portal Marks are objects the Atlanteans use for far distance travel. A portal mark has to be assigned to another mark for the teleportation to begin. Portal marks can be used by the Atlantean Military for quick deployment into territory. Observe the Field Support worker activating it. One tactic with marks is to infiltrate a Squad with a portal to plant it in enemy territory so that reinforcements can come through. Other factions are suggested to take out the portal man while Atlanteans must keep the portal unit alive. The tougher ranks of the Atlantean Armies! The Adept, the Squire, and the Hunter! Adepts and squires share a similarity in that they both wish to be greater, and will live to that. However Adepts tend to work unusually with a knack for certain weapons. And the hunter of the South Igeis poles fight for survival in their cold lands, plus vengence for their lost back in the Frozen Blood War. The trio are excellent special ops troops, but not super soldiers. Adepts specialise in a fighting skill. Here we have a plain Adept, no skill gear. These are Adepts with their Skill gear: A Heavy Weapons Adept with a HPH (High pressure Hydro) Blaster, a sniper Adept with SPR (Special Pinning gun), a Melee Adept armed with a Pulse SMG along with Blast Shield and a Flight Adept wearing jetpack and armed with Aztaff. Each is unique. Each can be used efficiently. Note the Melee adept can use other melee weapons in the Atlantean Armoury. Flight Adepts can use any weapon in conjunction with jetpack. On Regional troops. There a variations of uniform in the Atlantean Armies, due to the regions who wish to maintain certain traditions. I've made some myself and included one from people. Make your own regional troops and they could end up here! One of my regional troops, the Colonial Conscripts. These guys are based around the Atlantean moon settlements to protect them. These guys would have been citizens, but in certain situations, the Atlanteans must conscript! Therefore, these men aren't properly trained so they aren't as effective as regulars. These guys are seen obviously on the moons, but only for defense. The Atlantis Capital guard. These guys are seen in action around the capital city of Atlantis. In truth, Atlantis guards are more like police than troops. However, these guys can pack a bit more punch than the typical footmen. It would be out of place for these men to be any place other than Atlantis. The Mysterion standard military footmen. The usual soldiers of Atlantean Republic, not much other than the fact that the regions base their designs around these boys. The Atlanteans are most portrayed this way aswell. The Picsadian Royal Guards. In the cold Picsadia, the duke makes his troops with different gear that are still based on the main uniform. The Picsadian footmen look like this, only without the epaulets to show rank. The royal guards are a type of elite mostly seen in the palace. These regional footmen are by John Moore.
