Bara-Magna Matoran Team . A Matoran Team from Bara-Magna. . In my saga, Mata-Nui's little trip to Bara-Magna never occurs, and so the world continues to be relentlessly pummeled by evil. But the day-to-day fear of death has created powerful warriors, each of whom is different, yet very powerful, in fact, powerful enough to take on an average makuta on his or her own. But when they are together, there is practically no stopping them. Toa teams often rely more on each member's powers than on their teamwork, but these matoran by themselves can`t even get close to fighting the great evil that is threatening to finalize the destruction of their world, so they work together, as efficiently as possible.
Lacus, "The Tank"
He was never very agile or smart, and his hands were never strong enough to wield a devastating two-handed weapon, but his torso and feet were always very powerful, so he decided to use that to his advantage. He covered himself with the hardest and heaviest armor he could find. He can`t take out his enemies in an instant, like some of his teammates, but if he was ever forced to fight a very powerful makuta by himself, he would survive possibly ten times longer than any of them.
Telum, "The Charger"
In one of the caves the matoran had to stay in to avoid detection had an old lab in it. They saw a mechanical matoran, and after following simple instructions on the screen and some not-so-simple(such as pressing the "Any" key, when there was none)ones, the matoran was activated, and after they told him about the situation, he joined them, along with his huge polearm. His tactic is to basically run at the enemy with his polearm, and after either impaling them or missing, try to slash them to death with the large blade on his polearm.
Contego, "The Knight"
He doesn`t talk much, and he has never told anybody where he came from or how he learn to fight. But what everybody knows is that you should never fight him one-on-one. His tactic is to run at the opponent protected by his shield and pauldron and hit him as hard as possible, stunning him. Then he draws his rather large axe, and, well... the rest is quite obvious.
Lentus, "The Brawler"
His teammates can`t help but wonder why he never wears armor and how he can, rather effortlessly, wield the huge mace that probably weighs as much as he does. He isn`t much of a talker either, but he did say that his family fled from the Skrall when they started falling apart, and when his family was killed, he took his father's mace and fled. His strategy has two main parts: lifting the mace and swinging it. However simple it may seem, it is actually incredibly efficient.
Insidiae, "The Trapper"
He isn`t fast or strong nor does he like to fight enemies the ordinary way. What he does like, though, is luring enemies into traps and ambushes and taking care of them, without really endangering himself. Instead of armor he has different sorts of spikes on his body to make it harder for an enemy to grab him or try to hit him unarmed. His strategy is to ambush is enemies(duh) and quickly disarm them to make it harder for them to fight back.
Mucro, "The Evader"
His family was one of the few that didn't regress to little more than beast after the Great Being's experiment. Although they still had tail and clawed feet, only some of them had four eyes and all of them were as smart as the average matoran. But his family, and quite possibly, all of the Zesk, were wiped out by the makuta. There is a possibility that he is the only surviving Zesk, feral or otherwise. The Great Being's experiment granted his incredible speed and very sharp senses. He is actually quite frail, and so he doesn't even wield a sword, but the single dagger that he has is good enough for him. He can dodge nearly any a makuta would try. And very quickly, he wears his opponent down, and then goes for the kill.
Vesica, "The Flurry"
Her family, along with a few others, was safe. They lived in an air pocket pretty far beneath the sea level. But Vesica got bored of a life of hunting the rahi that swam by and never being allowed to leave the cave, for fear of being discovered, so she ran away. On the surface, after searching for a few hours, she was attacked by a makuta. Thanks to the little training that she had, she managed to survive with her twin fin-blades long enough for the Matoran Team to find her and save her. Ever since, she has been a valuable member. Her tactic is to wear the opponent down with a flurry of attacks. She doesn`t wear any armor because she is perfectly capable of blocking all attacks with her swords.
Vallo, "The Caster"
Vallo woke up in the middle of the desert one day. He didn't know who he was, what had happened, or anything else, besides his name. A nearby makuta sensed him and attacked him, but when Vallo waved his staff in fear, a ray of light his the makuta, not killing it, but causing it to flee. When the sun began to set, he saw a glint in the distance. When he got to where it came from, he saw a mask. It looked better than the hat-like one he was wearing, but when he put it on, it just felt wrong. So instead, he put it onto his staff, and suddenly, he felt a surge of energy coming from his staff. When he was attacked by a makuta again, he cast some sort of spell. He didn`t know what he was doing, but it felt like the natural thing to do. Once again, a ray of light hit the makuta, but this time, instead of scaring it, the ray dissolved it. He kept on traveling, and every now and then he would meet a matoran ready to fight with him side-by-side. And after a while, the Bara-Magna Matoran Team was formed. His strategy is to cast spells. He know a large amount of them: some offensive, some defensive, but mostly healing spells. Whenever a teammate is wounded, even lethally, as long as he or she is alive, he can bring them up to full health within an hour, or to a battle-ready state in just a minute or two.
