T-34/85 (1944) . Russian WWII tank. . This MOC is a continuation of the T-34/76 MOC presentation at; Link to T-34/76 MOC There is also an SU-100 version; Link to SU-100 MOC In 1944, after the introduction of the german Panther and Tiger tanks, it was obvious that the 76mm gun no longer was sufficient. So the T-34/85 was fielded. Apart from a new turret with the more powerful gun, there was now also room for an additional person. The new tank was also equipped with radio and extra external fuel tanks. +lots of other imporvements. In addition, the new model even costed a lot less to produce, so "Hurra!" indeed! The MOC has a lot of subtle changes and improvements to it, over the previous T-34/76 MOC also presented here on MOCpages, but the most interessting point is of course the turret, which I think has come out a lot better this time. (although I am not totally convinced by the prototypical white markings.) I will probably do a third and final model in this T-34 series, namely the SU-100, so stay tuned! This MOC was blogged by The Brothers Brick on 23rd of February (2010) (Just on "Russian Army´s Day"!!!)
