Modern House . This is a little something I cooked up on MLCad. See, not everything I do has to have wheels (just nearly everything..) . Every family should have one ! A bright, airy little house that nods to various European modernist architects from the 1930s with a few Art Deco splashes of colour and contemporary interior appointments. The idea is to have the dining room facing South (assuming you're in the Northern Hemisphere..) to maximise sunlight. The small North facing windows are augmented by the pyramid skylight flooding the landing with light. I like an open living area with some demarcation of space. There are five external doors - I know, a lot for a little house.. I've tried to furnish it in some detail simply to convey a feel for how it would work. It's nice to have a terrace for the main bedroom. Both doors slide back leaving the whole corner open. When I get a massive job lot of tiles I might even build it..
