White Tiger Trike with turbocharged V4 on snow and ice . On a cold winter I looked outside. Everything outside was white from snow. Where snow is, Siddhart is. Where Siddhart is, Lego is. Building this model kept me busy for two days without sleep. I only skip sleep when working on something special like this. . Every surface outside was covered by a layer of snow, but it was shrinking. There was a chance that rain would flush the snow prematurely away, but luckily that didn't happen. I built a trike to photograph it on the snowy surface. I started building and in no time I formed a cat-like framework. From there I composed the colorscheme before adding an engine and platework. First I tried to make it look yellow with black stripes to resemble a standard tigerskin. Then I compared it to the colorscheme which is needed to resemble a white tiger, so I went for white and black, with dark grey elements. To make the trike actually look like a big cat, I strategically added some sharply edged components, like prominently visible plates with air vents and protruding teeth-like components. I also used them as head and tail lights. After two weeks I dismantled this trike and counted the parts. I used 1059 single components to build this Tiger Trike, whis is actually a large number for a relatively small scale model like this.
