BU-22 . The BU-22 (BUZZ) . The BU-22, often refered to as "The BUZZ", has been copied and modified by pirates in the ongoing arms race between the miners stationed on Mars and an organized crime syndicate. When it became apparent that intercepting shipments of ore from Mars was well worth the risk of life and machine, pirates became increasing bold and better equipped. At first the miners, with financial backing from Earth's governments, were able to easily stay ahead of Asteroid Hustler's clan with technology making the raids highly dangerous. However, the Asteroid Hustler's began recieving anonymous data packets which contained the blue prints of the miners newest vehicle schematics and how to build them more cheaply and a race war ensued. A race war in which the Asteroid Hustler's were able to stay competitive. Peter Morris deserves all credit for this build. I spoke of him quite a bit and his available instructions on the Mars Mission PD . And if it's worth saying once it's probably worth saying again to improve your own building abilities try building from one of the numerous instructions available online. There were several times during this build that my brother and I couldn't "see" how this build could possibly be robust enough to be play worthy. However, by the conclusion of the build "The Archangel" frame has high "playability". One of my goals when building is to have it be robust enough for children to enjoy playing with it, this build definitely fills that criteria. It was pretty obvious that there were some critical pieces needed to fulfill this builds requirements, in particular the 4x12 slopes. My brother had those pieces in orange and black. I went with the black pieces, and although I could have gone with a monochromatic color scheme I thought a little color punch might be nice and settled with yellow (although any color would have looked cool because the build is just that sweet!). And building something that is black and yellow reminds me of a bee, thus the BU-22 "BUZZ" was christened. One thing that is very hard to do is photograph black; details simply get lost. Overcoming my reluctance to follow another builders instructions has led me to be excited about trying other builds. Money Shot.
