1/8 scale Lamborghini Miura SV chassis . . I used a new construction technique that allows for a more low profile chassis and thus the seat can be mounted 2-3 studs lower than usual. I flipped the beams so the holes are vertical. If I remember correctly I saw this suggested by nico71 on another moc I was looking at. It works perfectly its a bit hard to see, but if you look behind that drive shaft, you can see the clutch that L bracket is connected to an axle with a throw arm that disengages the clutch. on the part of the bracket closest to the wheel is where the linkage attaches, and then runs to a pedal underneath the steering column. the pedal is tensioned with a small rubber band. The clutch works flawlessly this is the underside of the gearbox, the shift linkages are on top instead of the bottom like my Pagani zonda. This makes the chassis more low profile. using shift linkages like this instead of putting the gearbox directly between the seat allows for more realistic shifter movement and allows the interior to be cleaner, more accurate and to scale. It also allows for the seat to be placed much lower in the chassis. The linkage you see by it self is the clutch linkage. Here is the chassis for my 1/8 scale Lamborghini miura. it has a 5+R gearbox with remote linkage, a WORKING CLUTCH, steering and suspension. it is the most complex and accurate chassis I have ever built
