Legendary U.R.S. vs F.I.S. War series: Part 1: The Message . IT'S HERE!!! U.R.S. VE F.I.S. SEASON 3 HAS BEGUN!! This is episode 1 so please comment, rate and enjoy! . CLICK HERE FOR THE LAST EPISODE. RECAP:At the end of Season 2 The U.R.S. had fled to their secret base on Endor after Fiser, their second in command and Blast's most trusted friend betrayed them and joined the F.I.S.. At that time, Daue Jogl and Null 9 "Denser" of the F.I.S. were killed. After fleeing to Endor, they were pursued by the F.I.S. and a massive battle in the trenches outside the base erupted. Many were killed on both teams. But during this fight on board the newly re-built The Desolation, Bisvernicof the OvaSeer appeared and brought Denser back to life as Null 1 "Slack". Iadsgb took Slack into battle with them. But just a while later the F.I.S. retreated into the forest and left the U.R.S. in the trenches. The U.R.S. leaders watched on from inside the base as millions of bombs obliterated the trenches and everything in them. The leaders went out once it was safe and found that nobody had survived. They walked amongst the bodies and Blast cried while Jelli and Falcon kissed against a backdrop of drifting smoke. Later once they were back on The Manipulator, Blast was told that they only had 3 pilots, 2 engineers, 2 mechanics, 4 medics, 1 marine, 5 officers and 57 troops left. The F.I.S. had long left the system and now the U.R.S. took off and left. WHAT HAPPENED IN BETWEEN THE SEASONS: And so for the next two weeks the surviving members of the U.R.S. sulked around the ship, moping and moaning and crying and mourning the dead. It was the most dreadful atmosphere in the universe. Although they tried to remain positive it hardly ever worked. Some people set themselves little projects to do. Jelli started creating a journal of the war and of her experiences in it. Blast tinkered with his armour. Improving it, updating it and generally making it better. He added a shoulder cape (something he had always wanted), colored his neck and waist armour red and added a red lighting bolt shaped mark to the side of his helmet. Meanwhile the F.I.S. were celebrating. Dancing and shouting and partying and generally having fun. Although Iadsgb himself hardly ever attended these parties he still kept in the joyous mood. It was after all; nearly Christmas! NOW: 15 Days Later… Blast sat at one of the many computers on The Manipulator’s bridge. He now no longer needed his wheelchair as his injuries had healed. The U.R.S. were floating in hyperspace somewhere near Felucia. With only 3 pilots left, only The Manipulator could be flown. There just simply weren’t enough of them to fly the whole fleet. Blast continued typing but stopped when a message flashed up on the screen. It read… Connecting to… Manipulator. Searching… Searching… Found device. Files uploading. Blast frowned at the screen as the progression bar slowly increased from 0% to 100%. The message changed. File upload complete. Saving files to Manipulator storage device. Saving complete. Exiting Manipulator system. Log out process complete. Blast suddenly grabbed the controls and clicked at the message to try and stop it going but it disappeared leaving Blast totally flummoxed as to what had just happened. He searched in all the files for the new content, found it and opened it up. It took him a few moments to realize what it as but as soon as he did he gasped and scrabbled around franticly trying to print it out in case it was somehow deleted. A paper printout of the document appeared from the processor next to the computer and Blast held it, studying it. It was a map. A map of what appeared to be an F.I.S. base, complete with co-ordinates and measurements. Who could have sent it? Why? Was it real? A million questions floated round in Blast’s head as he continued to study the map. The doors behind him swooshed open and Padfoot walked past towards the front of the bridge but R.K. called him back. “What do you make of this?” he asked his second. “It looks like a map.” Padfoot replied also looking at the printout. “Yes I can see that, but what is it of?” “It looks like….” Padfoot gasped and looked more closely at it. “It’s an F.I.S. base!” he answered excitedly. “Yes but is it real?” “It seems to be. Let me run a scan on it.” Padfoot took the sheet and pulled a small device from his belt. The device lit up and he ran it across the paper. The light went out and he put it back on his belt. “Well it’s not a fake sir.” He concluded handing the sheet back. “Hm… I’m just trying to think which base this is. Whether it’s one that we used to use or whether it is a new one built by them since the war started.” Blast rubbed his chin. “I shall have to do some studying.” He concluded and thanked Padfoot then walked from the room. A few minutes later and he opened the door to his private quarters. He pulled the chair to the desk and sat down in it. He placed the page in front of him and looked at it for a moment before pulling a largely stuffed notebook from one of the huge piles and placing it down next to it. He opened the book and thumbed through the pages until he came across a section entitled “Base cross-sections, maps and blueprints.” He had made notes and maps of all the F.I.S. bases that had been built when he was still in the organization. He looked at each map but after a while he came to the end of the section and not a single one looked in the slightest bit like the new printout. He sat back in his chair and put his hands behind his head. He closed his eyes and started thinking but was interrupted by a rapid knocking at the door. “Sir!” a voice shouted from outside. Blast got up and opened the door to reveal Padfoot looking rather exited. “Sir! Another message!” he said and handed over another printout. Blast studied the message and threw it onto his desk before running from the room with Padfoot on his heels. The message read… Hoth. 22.4.95-30.4.00. B.T.O. “Captain!” Blast and Padfoot burst back onto the bridge and peered down into the lower half of the bridge that was now rather quiet, there being only 3 pilots. “Yes sir?” the new head captain called back up. “Take us to these co-ordinates.” And Padfoot rattled off the numbers as the captain typed them into his computer and set the course. “Hoth. Correct sir?” he checked. “Yes. That’s it.” Blast replied. “Immediate take off?” “Yes.” R.K. answered and the Captain saluted and turned back to his computer. Blast turned to Padfoot. “Round up the other leaders. Bring them here.” And so a short time later, the bridge was once again full of the U.R.S. leaders and their ship was hurtling through hyperspace towards the ice planet of Hoth. “A little while ago, I received this map, and these co-ordinates.” Blast held up the sheets of paper for all to see. “What are they sir?” Nightblaze asked. “Directions.” Blast smiled as he replied. “Somebody is helping us out. Somebody has given us a map and directions to a new F.I.S. base on Hoth.” “Who?” asked Jelli. “The note was signed B.T.O.” “B.T.O.? Who’s that?” Slash asked. “Let’s just say, that it was thanks to him that I’m stood here talking to you now, and not in a wooden box in the ground somewhere.” R.K. handed the paper to Padfoot to hold. “Get your ice gear on; we’re going to Hoth.” And so the U.R.S. blasted along towards to desolate ice system of Hoth. BUT WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT? FIND OUT IN PART 2! COMING TUESDAY 20TH APRIL! I would also just like to say: I was greatly saddened to recently hear of Nate's death. may he rest in peace and his mocs live on. R.I.P. Nnenn.
