Ghost vs III . The third and - hopefully - final version of my ghost. Now in authentic purple :) . The most noticeable thing about my new ghost is the colour. I have sadly received some criticism for the use of purple bricks whether this be due to their rarity or a mutual dislike for the colour purple I don't know. However I myself am quite happy with the effect of the uniform colour. The classic blue look is great too, of corse. Worg! [splat] the ghost is really fun to drive in multiplayer and the satisfaction of successfully boarding it and boosting over the ex-driver is just unbeatable. The guns are quite powerful, able to mow down most opposition with automatic fire but boosting is a waayy more fun tool of destruction. My X-Box live tag is RA RA XD by the way so if you see me tell me what you think of my mocs! The undershot shows the main component of the plasma guns, skis! Extremely useful for the construction most covenant weapons like the plasma rifle I made. This shot also shows the "pedals", which I was glad I could include. There is the absence of a fuel tank... I'll probably deal with that next version. The ghost can seat Elites by a clever feature of the stud at the base of their body attaching to the hole in a 1x1 brick with a hole (I hope this makes more sense than I think). However there was an issue with seating the marines. The first method I devised was using a sort of "seat" (a 2x2 piece wit a technique holder attached to the base)... ... However this made the marine to tall and slightly unstable so I removed the control panel that I had kept from previous versions and replaced it with dual control columns. The Elite can't exactly reach these columns but thats OK. Still no spartans to feature in any pictures seeing as I'm two lazy to go on brick forge to get the armor I need. Finally some shots of it in various states of completion, which should help if you want to use this design. As usual as long as you give credit you can use and edit it. Thats all for now ;) Please rate and comment, it only takes two seconds.
