CLASSIC SPACE FREIGHTER . Here is my nostalgic attempt at a Classic Space Freighter! . I finally took a break from building Lego Transformers (My obsession) and decided to create something based on Classic Space which really got me into Lego when I was a kid in the first place. So here is my first adult attempt: A Lego Classic Space Freighter with seven removable cargo pods. Built with pieces from that era in Lego history and no modern elements. I used a lot of design ideas they used when I was a kid and modernized some a little. I used a lot of antenae and radar pieces and the classic blue with yellow canopies. There is also a tug to remove the cargo pods from the freighter's spine. The shape although much smaller is similar to the Invisible Hand, General Grevious' ship from Episode III. There is an operator pod at the top of the rear of the ship and a crew cabin with dual radar in the mid section of the spine of the ship. The front portion of the ship houses an array of antanea, radars and navigation sensors. Take a look and please feel free to comment. Classic Space Freighter... Front Sensor Cluster... Tug and cargo pod... Thrusters (rear view)...
