Narrow-body Jetliner P-1 "Falcon" . My first commercial airliner, the P-1 "Falcon" narrow-body jetliner. Due to its large wings, it has long-range capacities, but is primarily used on short-haul and medium-long flight routes. The title picture shows the boarding of a P-1 "Falcon" aircraft. Key words: Lego LEGO aircraft passenger passengers jetliner regional jet landing gear T-tail narrow-body plane planes civil aviation KAAI engineering aerodynamics aerodynamic swoosh swooshable streamlined airline airliner retractable airport cabin interior functional functionality playability playable minifig scale minifigs minifig-scale Kasteleiner Aircraft & Aerospace Industries commercial aviation . While building this, I thought a lot of my friend Stephen Abbott, another aviation fan here on MOCpages with a focus on commercial aviation. And then, some people have been asking me if I could build a passenger aircraft. Well, this is my first one. :) The Falcon's side profile Esthetics and functionality were important to me while building the Falcon. Working control surfaces all over the aircraft: wing flaps, rudder of altitude and side rudder - everything functions! If this was a car, I would say it has a pretty nice chassis:) - I like that tail... Lower fuselage, wing underside and landing gear displayed Main gear details Main gear retracted Front gear retracted Extendable emergency stairs right at the root of the wing body Baggage handling dudes:)... Spread your wings and fly? Along the Falcon's leading edge. Very SWOOOSHABLE:) Nose & tail design The Falcon as seen from the rear-top perspective Space for a pilot and co-pilot: the cockpit interior. Sorry for the poor quality, it was very hard to phohotgraph! The entire fuselage can be opened easily like this, or by opening the two seperate opening flaps for the cabin and the cockpit. As you can see here, I had to use two boat/train weights to keep the nose down (the Falcon is a little tail-heavy). So I lost two seats for passengers in the cab - oh well! :) Finally, a line-up of KAAI's most recently produced aircraft - from left to right: 1. MH-81 "Bear" Transport Helicopter & Gunship 2. P-1 "Falcon" Jetliner 3. CH-93 "Sparrow" Utility & Stunt Helicopter Feel free to rate and comment. I am always thankful for constructive criticism! Steffen
