Point Verdant . ... . Well then. Sorry I haven't been around for a while, I hope this MOC is worth your wait. Anyhow, this is my first real attempt at the Castle theme. As you look at this, you may notice some similarities to Kevin Fedde's Castle works. He's a close friend, so naturally I've picked up some ideas from him. So, I present: "Point Verdant," the home/base of operations of Miss Gwendolyn Weatherall. I do hope you all enjoy it.
Here's a reverse shot of the tower.
The ruined Belfry. Centuries ago, this bell would have warned the Caraval coastline of invasion by sea. Now, however, it is only home to many, many seagulls.

When it was built, the tower rested atop a mighty stone arch, but the years have not been kind, and reinforcement was required.
Grog the Peasant occasionally fishes in the shadow of the tower.
Even battle-hardened soldiers will share their rations with the occasional stray pig.
Gwendolyn occasionally receives waves from passerby.
Though he knows that there's a cave in the cliff wall, Grog the Peasant has never tried to squeeze through the tiny opening. His loss.
The pathway to the tower is worn and overgrown after centuries of disuse.
Oh, look, a tree. And it's even got a little nest in it. I think that's a nest, anyway. Or maybe it's a cream cheese danish. I totally want a tree that grows cream cheese danishes.
Miss Gwendolyn Weatherall, out of the battle armor, and garbed in more comfortable clothing.
Gwendolyn resides on the tower's third floor, a room alarmingly exposed to the elements. I guess she likes the fresh air.
In addition to a small cartography desk, Gwendolyn has mounted a pair of antique swords on the wall.
Next to the bed is a small table, strewn with various items of undiscerned purpose.
The second floor is used as a storeroom for various foods, as well as Gwendolyn's battle armor.
I built this MOC with a modular structure, inspired by Lego's Town sets, allowing any part of the MOC to be easily accessed.
So that's it for my first real Castle MOC. I've tried to give Castle my own distinct flavor, and I hope I've succeeded.
