Maybach Exelero . Hi everybody! Previously I presented you one of worlds rarest cars - Zimmer Quicksilver. Well, it wasn't that successful as I hoped it to be, but the real car wasn't either. So I bring you an other rare car, which in reality costs 8 000 000 EUR and is one of its kind (only the real car is black) . So here it is, probably the rarest street legal car - Mayback Exelero. It is one of its kind (only black in reality), and was sold by 8 000 000 EUR. I don't remember where I found that information, but it was said, that exterior and interior was designed by one student. It was also said, that this car is handcrafted, plus it's 700 hp V12 engine makes it prity much worth 8 million Euros. Since it's Maybach, it also adds some cents to the prise. But nevertheless, the car is beautiful and full of exterior features, which made it very fun to build. It has kind of integrated spoilers at the rear, and this was very tricky part. This type of headlights are also a challenge to build so that they woud look appropriate. The car is very low, sleek, long. But despite the lowness it still has my "custom suspension". I tried to recreate the shape of the car as much as my LEGO parts allowed. Notice, that the rear end is one stud shorter than the whole car. Despite many angled (hinged) parts (especialy the front) it is very solid. Just for fun I also made a Maybach logo out of LEGO parts and showed it at the mane picture. Some exterior shots. It took some time to me to edit the pictures. But I guess it was worth it. If anyone is curious of software I used - it's Corel Rare car - that's cool, but it comes with some disadvantages as well. How doors open - that for sure is clear, hood - also wasn't a troble. But there must be something openable at the rear, but I couldn't find any corresponding image. So I left the rear of the car solid, without openable stuff. Who knows, maybe there isn't any. Afterall, this car is sports car, so who needs a space for luggage or something. There were onlt one available picture of engine compartment, and even that wasn't the best you could wish for. Sportish and luxuary interior at the same time. I was surprised how few black LEGO parts I had. While designing the interior I almost spent all my black parts. After finishing this car I had left only big black bricks. All small black parts were used! This time I took some w.i.p. pics too, so I added them here as well. For car builders this part is actually the most interesting part, couse here you can see some things you can't show at the presentation without taking apart your car. This applies to taking off the roof too.
