Dr. Cassius' MT-09 Iron Bird . My entry for a Steampunk contest over at Flickr. The wings do flap and can be moved by a little mechanism. . As the 19th century began, the interest in machines who would allow humans to fly grew. Many inventors tried their hands and many kinds of devices were developed. But no seemed perfect, every machine had its weakness. In 1857 the British Queen commissioned the famous inventor Dr. Cassius to build a flight device, that would be the best in all sectors, as the war was iminent. Be sure to check out the video, this is a working ornithopter!: I hope you like it! Comment and rate!
