CN Tower, Toronto . This model consists of 811 pieces. . This is my fifth skyscraper model based off the original design of Spencer Rezkalla. Model took less than a day to design and a little over a month to complete. The CN Tower is the second tallest free-standing structure in the world and holds first place in the World Federation of Towers. CN refers to Canadian National, a railroad company that built the tower. The tower features a restaurant at 1,151.6 ft high, known as the 360 Restaurant which revolves around the center of the tower completing a full rotation every 72 minutes. The main portion of the CN Tower is a hollow concrete hexagonal pillar containing things such as stairwells, elevators, and plumbing and power connections. Model completed July 15, 2010. More photos on Brickshelf Construction photos here Looking down. Looking up Base details. View of the main pod section of the tower.
