NEOS 'Thunder' Heavy Tank . Designed for flat, open terrain, the 'Thunder' heavy hovertank rains havoc upon its adversaries, while receiving minimal damage upon its heavy armor. . The low angles and curves on the tank are useful in deflecting shrapnel and projectiles. A battalion of 'Thunder' tanks would take up the rear of an attack force, taking out vehicles and structures that hindered infantry and light vehicles from advancing, all while remaining safely out of range of most opposing fire. Rear view. While not as sloping as the front, the rear is just as heavily armored, making this tank a difficult vehicle to destroy from any angle. The turret, which consists of four long-range missiles and an extremely powerful rail gun to destroy armored targets from a distance. This little knob can rotate the turret for increased playability. :) These side missiles are short-range, land-to-air explosives to defend the tank against bombers that would otherwise be a devastating foe. All four of the hoverpods can rotate for playability. Transparent light blue, the best color for small yet powerful looking engines in the galaxy. Rear hatch for the gunner. It opens, but it is difficult to get the minifigure in and out of the hatch. Instead of the tiny (but cool looking) rear hatch, the minifig can be removed by opening the roof. Another interior shot of the gunner's cockpit. The pilot's cockpit, hatch closed. Hatch open, showing more interior goodness. Final action shot: The 'Thunder' hovertank targets an enemy while a heavy soldier runs into battle. Time to get the NEOS alive again!
