M-Tron Light Walker . M-Tron's new ground vehicle, a reversed engineered Sub-Orbital Guardian. Made strictly for combat. . My true first decent looking MOC for the M-Tron theme. I always loved the Blacktron II Sub-Orbital Guardian. So I decided one day to make a similar walker for the M-Tron's. I designed it on the LDD by LEGO for ease of part ordering and then ordered the parts LDD didn't have on BL. The slider desgin is exactly the same as the Guardian. There is a few sections on the set that are not entirely realistic. The MOC is currently Intact and I have parts to make a second. The intact version is missing a few parts off the LDRAW model because I didn't really like it in the end for play value. Here is a little history behind the walker: When the M-Tron were being raided more frequently between remote bases by Blacktron II and Space Police now being bothered by newer badguys, some upper management decided that being a civilian waiting on Space Police was rough. After a resource scouting mission gone bad, a few M-Tron scouts discovered a Sub Orbital Guardian that had been abandoned. Most likely the pilot ejected from it after being hit. The orbital weapons were destroyed, as the power unit. A Repair unit came and picked it up and brought it to a base for examination. A few months later and a prototype walker came walking out. The unit is now in service with the M-Tron's defending mainly bases and remote mining facilities.
