MocOlympics Side Games #3: Spastle Diorama! . A Diorama, for the competition betwixt me and my opponent, Lando L. Jackson, who wishes to ruin mine honour and regain his own. A duel for said honour ensues on the ceremonial floating platform in a great king's palace! . A total view of the good king's throne-chamber. (Yes, this was inspired by the scene in the movie Flash Gordon. I freaking love that movie, and the theme was in my head all the way through this build.) Mine opponent, Lando has opted for a traditional Laser-Sword/Plasma Shield combination, but I doubt he will be able to survive long against my dual blades! The Taurens, a malicious kingdom of men bent on domination, watch from the sidelines as me and my opponent attempt to end one another's lives. As do the Insectinites, rulers over this watery moon. They have happily lent us their throne room for the purposes of entertainment and honour. Honour I say! The Leonic Princess seems to be enjoying our duel, despite her over protective guards. A noble view of the- Ah, feck it. You try doing this bit in a posh accent, see how far you get. Rear shot. As much as I enjoyed this build, which I honestly did, chances are I won't be expanding this palace. It was enough trouble building this, can you image trying to suspend a huge palace? With an interior? Diorama with out the figs. Yes, I did place thoise guards in a way that they would hide the lack of tiles next to the throne, sue me. Underside. Not much to see here, except the part that was by far the trickiest bit to build! I rather quickly ran out of bricks that could simply click with the BURPs, so I tried to make a sort of cage for them. It worked(ish). Shot at the water/base. I was originally going to build some clouds for it to rest on, but I kept forgetting to check the proverbial hourglass, and things got rather out-of-hand. I'm lucky I managed to get it up now (Don't even think about it Phipson). Link to the MocOlympic Side game. Link to Lando's Page.
