Solunus Returns . Solunus, once one of the great protectors of Ghetta Nui, emerges from hiding to reclaim his title of Toa. His powers may be drained, but his spirit will not waiver. Version 2 of my self MOC. . Name: Solunus
Element: Air (lost)
Mask: Kakama (drained)
Weapons: Heavy assault rifle, grenade launcher, combat knife, weaponized bass guitar
Vehicles: Armored trike, jet pack
My favorite upgrade to Solunus is the new hands. This is my first attempt at fingers on a Bionicle, and I think it turned out well.
Solunus is normally armed to the teeth, but will occasionally revert to hand-to-hand combat to defeat opponents. Many say that his element should have been fire, as he has a violent temper when battling.
Solunus had twin daggers as a Toa, but has since been reduced to making his own weapons. This knife has a vibrating blade that is useful for cutting through armor.
The ever-trusty grenade launcher, capable of firing six high-explosive grenades in just a few seconds. Enemy gangs beware!
His old assault rifle was useful, but lacked the punch that Solunus needed to defeat the war machines of the more powerful gangs in Ghetta Nui. He upgraded to this one. Bigger bullets means better results.
And now for some showy shots:
New chest armor.
Pretty much the same arm design.
Upgraded leg armor.
Since Solunus lost his powers, the thing he missed most was the ability to fly. After years of fine-tuning, he finally developed an effective jet pack. Should the gangs of Ghetta Nui get their hands on the design, Solunus's efforts to free Ghetta Nui would become almost futile.
The trike: bigger, badder, and better than last time.
We'll let the pictures speak for themselves, shall we?
And of course, what Toa would be complete without the power of rock on his side? Solunus has defeated many a gang member by melting their faces with his mad bass skills.
Solunus with all his gear.
Bonus: my loot this Christmas! I got Skopio, Repair Truck, a whole mess of power functions stuff, and a portable storage container to put it all in! Like my footie pajamas? Target has the weirdest stuff. :)
Thanks for viewing, if you haven't checked out my other Ghetta Nui stuff, you can find them here. Merry Christmas!
