Indy Car/Formula Car from 5867 . Indy Car/Formula Car from 5867. . This really is one of the best sets ever releases in the Creator range, we have a number of sets still to add in order to complete our collection, but this is standing up to be the most versatile. So here is my Formula car, it to me looks much more like an Indy Car, it has great appearance when the wheels turn, and the overall proportions are good, the plan for the front foil was to get the nose over the foil, I think they are reffered to as a 'spoon' design. This was one of my most challanging builds, I really loved making this model, and made many many modifications as it went on, overall the weakest part is the rear wing, but as an indy car it stands well, my strongest is the front wing, I wish the 2x1 black plate below the nose was red though! The mirrors also would have been nice if mounted further from the centre, but still very believable, other aspects are the great angles I got in the cockpit for the seat and wheel. As well as the bar over the head above the seat, and I also love the old style (70's) air intakes above the head, just like the alternate I did with the 4939. This model is not that fragile, but also not that strong, I hope you enjoy attempting to build it!
