Mosquito 1 b.u.g. class mecha ldd . B.U.G. (Big Ugly Giant) class mecha are out-sized (giant) versions of things that are normally considered tiny. The term usually applies to insect styled mecha. . The Mosquito 1 Description: The Mosquito is a short range reconnaissance "ornithopter" style mecha. It takes its name from the long "proboscis" style cannon positioned under its cockpit. It also features a much shorter semi-automatic weapon at its tail section which can be independently targeted. The Mosquito is mostly used for tracking enemy units at fairly long range. built mostly for speed and manoeuvrability. extremely vulnerable once on the ground. Creator Notes: I've had this idea of creating a mecha insect for months now. I'm 70% happy with this one, something about the legs still bugs me (no pun intended). I like the hunchbacked shape and the poses the head and thorax can achieve are fairly impressive. Scale wise it stands just a bit taller than a minifig Only fly in the ointment (again unintentional) is the colours. I'm still debating whether I like the blue... please comment and rate if you want.
