The Elements of War. . . In a serine lagoon, two students, each nearing mastery of his surrounding elements, find themselves pitted against each other once again to further hone their skills. The master has raised each of them from the time they could barely walk and has taught them well. He is so much more than a teacher to them, more like a father as they are like brothers to one another. Both students will soon be given their final test before they are released to join the war. The master watches closely. Both of his prize pupils have been evenly matched for so long and the master wonders who will be victorious this day. Will it be Kaji, the fire warrior with his barely controllable temper... or perhaps Kai Sui, the water warrior. Only time will tell as they near their final test. Fourth Wall Commentary: So a couple of things inspired this, well it's too big to be a vig and too small to be a dio so, we'll go with Bignette (I think that's the proper term). First was Hans Dendauw's AWESOME moc of the teacher meditating with his student. And yeah, I TOTALLY stole the "kneeling" pose from him on that one. The bamboo technique I've seen in a few places but I think Goldman was where I first saw it. The other was that I watched "Avatar: The Last Airbender" a few days ago. Ya know, that movie wasn't nearly as bad as they would have you believe. So anyway, I had this thought in my head of two students sparring while using thier chosen elements and this morning, after I tore down the maze and sorted it, I threw this together. Basically, I wanted to get the concept out of my head and in brick and done so that I could move on to more important things like my BrickWorld builds. Well, hope you liked it. That's all for now! Till next time true believers! ~Chris.
