Team Inglorious ABStards in: 'Walk the Dog' . For the 2011 Mocathalon. Many thanks to my team members for putting up with the constant delays in posting this, and many 'damn yous' to my teachers for causing those delays. No matter, for 'tis all up and posted now. Go ABStards!!! . Bob was tired... ... tired of his dog Lucy and all her needs. Literally and figuratively speaking, she was a bitch. A naggy bitch who always disturbed Bob for one reason or another. Because of this, Bob grew tired of all the nuisances owning a dog came with. From picking up poop... ... to being taken on runs... ... to the endless feeding times, Bob was always attending to his dog's needs instead of his own. Bob was at the breaking point. So one day while walking a restless Lucy in the park (during a football game, of course), Bob got an idea. "I like dogs, but taking care of them just flat out sucks." He thought. "What if." "What if I were to build my own dog? Where's the downside in that? No more feedings, no more pooping, no more dragging... oh, and I can walk it when I want! How cool would that be?" So with that in mind, Bob returned home and immediately began work on his new project. A day and a half later... ... and the K-9.0 was finished. However, Bob's happiness was put on hold. Shortly after completion, Bob realized that his new creation was too big for him to walk on his own. He needed assistance of some kind. "What to do?" He thought to himself. Then it hit him. "I'll make a mech to walk it! Perfect!". Following his second stroke of genius, Bob began construction on a mech that would help him walk his new robo-dog. After slaving away for another day and a half, the MechDogger-Walker was born. Now Bob would never again have to pick up poop, or do any of the other things that come with real dog ownership. Everything was all right. Epilogue: No, he didn't shoot Lucy. Bob just put her up for adoption to a good home. It would appear that Lucy's new owners are enjoying their dog a lot. Whoops, Damn zoom was on. So yeah, enjoying their dog. Bonus pictures: The mech and dog without the background. Everything that made up this post. A rather challenging category, I must say.
