Ye Olde Lloyd's Building . . Teamgo in the category "What Would King Arthur Say?" For the 2011 MocAthalon Been away visiting various members of my family dotted around the country, but I'm back and ready to RRRRRRUMBLE. I chose the Lloyd's Building in London to castlefy. It's not very widely known, but I think it's a cool building. The building is sometimes referred to as "the Inside-Out Building" and that's mostly what I was going for with this: an inside-out castle. I did try to capture the likeness, but it's a bit of a hard building to get your head around what's going on. This aspect gives the best representation of what I was going for with this build. (Just ignore the more well known "Gherkin" in the background) There were more surrounding towers, but it looked too cluttered, so I only kept in the ones you see now. Armoury. Porcelain (or should that be wooden - youch, splinters!) throne. This guys just happy to be there. The moat... where you'd expect the moat on an inside-out building to be: the inside. The King of Londontownshire shows his displeasement with the finished building. (The guy on the right is the architect, the world just wasn't ready for his design) Overview without figures. The focal point of the build, the atrium. Thanks for looking & TTFN
