truck trial attempt one . A first attempt for a truck trial. I'll rebuild this to resolve a few engeneering problems. . Special thanks to Roman 89 and Nico 71 on brickshelf, and I think a whole lot of other truck trial builders for their ideas. Here you see the front axle. very very very strong. You see the engine is a V10, I started to make a Dodge RAM. View of the rear axle. Here you see the flexible- leaf spring- problem. They shift a little, and don't go back. Result: chassis is crooked. Special features: the system for gear change. Makes it very tall though. The flexible tubes have another feature: there are flexibles mounted in it, result is that they very reistable from tearing apart. the drivng axle still bends, though. This creation will be rebuild very soon. I have a few problems that - in my opinion - only can be resolved by redoing the whole. Problem one: axles not wide enough. I had to build in the motors to high, that's not good for stability. Problem two: the flexibles that I use as leaf springs: not sure if this will last. in the front : ok, but in the rear they tend to shift a little, but not shift back. Problem three: gearbox. in highest gear chatters from inputline to the gearline, in second gear chatters from gearline to the driveline of the front drive, in lowest gear chatters to the driveline of the rearwheels. Maybe best to rebuild in oldschool technic?
