"Governor" class heavy tank, Despot Tank System . Lumbering hulk of tank . The Despot Tank System is a family of AFVs that shares common components such as suspensions, engines, armor plates, and turrets. Evolved from the Magnum Tank, IE engineers have isolated the main components of the tank and designed each part to be modular. Everything is interchangeable, simplifying logistics, maintenance, and repair. The standard "Governor" class heavy tank consists of a Governor pillbox-style turret, Version 2 body, Andersen VF1000A engine block, Version 3 transmission, and the Class 3 Armor set. An 80mm autocannon is standard. The Governor turret is over 400mm of steel in each direction, making it virtually indestructible from any known projectile short of a direct hit from a ballistic nuclear device. The Class 3 Armor gives the hull excellent protection, and completes the Governor as a heavy assault tank, perfect for urban warfare where its thick armor will be difficult to defeat.
