The Tyrant II - My 1 Year MOCiversary! . The past year has gone so quickly! In thirteen days, I will have been a member of MOCpages for 1 whole year and itís been a great one. Iíve developed my building skills massively, but not as much as the size of my collection! As a celebration, Iíve taken the first creation that I uploaded, The Tyrant, and beefed it up!
So, put on your seat belts, clip on your helmets and grab an orange flavoured beverage Ė lets go! . To begin, here is The Tyrant I, my very first MOC on the pages. Iím loving how good the photography is on that picture :D
Start the fanfares! Here is the brand new, beefy-cake-of-dreams that is the Tyrant II! I stuck with the same colour scheme and shape (sort of)(not really). I would have measured it but I donít have a ruler long enough (oooooooo!)! Joking guys, there are MUCH bigger ships out there, all far more complex.
To give an idea of the size, the captain of the ship, Boba Fett stands at its foot.
The engines must have at least quadrupled in size :D
Hereís a view from the front. The dark grey stripe is the boarding ramp Ė it folds down to let the crew in.
Behold the bridge!
Thatís one meaty thruster. Behind the thrusters cone is a radiator curl and a large fan.
This join fitted really well originally, but when adding extra supports it went a bit squiffy. Hopefully, itís not too evidentÖ
The big guns on the sides are good for blowing up Star Destroyers, but for close encounters they need something a bit smaller -
From the back, it seems to look more impressiveÖ what do you think?
Two identical escape pods. Each can hold two minifigures.
From the beginning, I wanted a curved window. OK, so itís not a Ďrealí curve but close enough :D
What the majority of big ships on the pages donít have is an interior. I continue this trend :)
Just kidding! After Iíd built the ship, I thought that the big space inside was a bit wasted. A simple, lightweight interior was the way to go! The ship is meant to be a bit rickety (like Bobaís armour) so I made it that way. Simply take the side of the ship off and start playing (not that I played with it :D)Ö
Sorry about the bad picture. The sun couldnít make its mind up today Ė stupid unpredictable British weather!
This is the medical bay Ė there is a medical droid but heís not shown here.
The holo-projector shows the Bounty Hunter leader. Iíll be queuing up at the store right at opening time when Lego release blue hands for minifigures :)
A prison cell Ė where else do you lock up those dastardly Rebels!
Youíll get to see inside later onÖ
Lets follow Dengar upstairsÖ
When the Bounty Hunters are tired after a long days work, they can have a kip on the beds.
Zuckuss operates the computer. Iím not sure but I think heís trying to find the nearest Space Burger King :/
At the back there is a weapons rack, but I forgot to put the weapons in :D
Letís take the ladder up to the bridge!
Oh, I think Boba got shot in the back groundÖ
Remove the roof of the bridge to see the controls, piloted by 4-LOM. One of the seatsí comfy Bantha-skin covers have worn off :)
Ah, the prison cell! Poor Lukeís been captured :(
Lucky the cell has a toilet, Luke had a really bad curry before he got on :D
Thereís a small onboard computer for navigating the escape pod.
The entire cast of the Tyrant II:
Once Iíd taken the photos and it started to rain outside, I realised that Iíd forgotten to put the Space Moped on the holding bay :( Here are some pictures anyway:
Now its time for some individual shots of the team:
And to conclude, another image of the great ship!
As this is my anniversary MOC, I want to find out which of my MOCs is your favourite so I can get an idea of what MOCs to do in future!
You can also talk about the Tyrant II as well if you want :D
