Pokemon Compilation 1: I'm Jared from Pallet Town... . I want to be, the very bessst, like nooo-ooone ever WAS, dan dan dan, to catch them is my rreeaalll test, to train them is my cause, da da da, I will travel across the land, searching far and wiiide, dan dan dan, each pokemon, to unndeerstand, the power that's inside....Well, I guess that's an entire day of studying out the window. I sort of did both and studied while building. Sorry about the main pic, it was to test my Gimp skills. See, when I needed it to cut the photo correctly, it didn't do it, but when I rushed through 'cause I have to go to bed now, it magically worked. Look, I'll do another one tomorrow (yes, I know about Areetsa's tutorial.). Anyway, this is my first "attempt" at Pokemon minifigures. I guess this is why I stick to Doctor who. Anyway, at least look before you throw up, or even so, don't be too scared. I have to admit, they came out pretty okay. Darkrai is probably my favorite of the group. I can't stop listening to "On the floor"... well, that's what you get for being a teenager. .
I really sad/bad attempt with Gimp®. I was going to use this as the main pic, but decided that was a really bad idea. Anyway, it looks okay. It's better than the color background... for me anyway. Credit goes to:
My rival: (insert name here). Just in case you guys want to be him. Umm, there is quite a bit of detail in him. I will probably do a CYOA in the future, so if anybody wants to be him in advance, please notify me. Thanks :)
Guess who! That's right, my new (soon to be) sig-fig. For now, this is the pokemon version. I like the back pack. Thanks Cody G. for the poke-ball idea. I'll be making a mart soon, if people like this. Anyway, I really love the hat, it just looks so cool. I come from Pallet town, and aspire to be the worlds best pokemon trainer. My current pokemon are Slugma and Cyndaquil.
This is my other rival, named (insert name here), because well, you get it. Leave a comment if you want to be him.
A very nice Poke-ball built by my brother. The more you encourage them, and praise them, the better they become.
Darkrai, the highlight. You'll see more of him later. I know he's a bit big, but it's really hard to get him in terms of mini-fig scale. I still can't get over how I built him. Mind woah.
Slugma, the lava pokemon. It evolves into Macargo. Anyway, no more annoying pokedex descriptions from here on out. I promise... Cyndaquil. I think he looks pretty good.
Murkrow. I have to admit, he came out A LOT better than I thought. Hope you like him!
Quilava! He is awesome. For those of you wondering, yes, I did choose cynda. as my silver starter. I like him, even though I'm a grass user. So, Sceptile, snivy, venosaur, bayleef... you get the idea.... I like his head. I think the legs came out pretty well too!
Macargo!!! Yeah, he's my favorite. That's why I was forced to build Slugma. Still, he came out really well too. I think he's the best one I did!
Even the shell is epic. I should do a photo of him using lava plume, after I make a Heatran....
Typhlosion!! I didn't do too bad a job. I like how the legs and back came out. I just couldn't compile him into minifigure scale. So he ended up being a little bit bigger.
Now presenting the main attraction.... Darkrai! Isn't he awesome! Not really much to say. His epicness is just so awesome. OH, I'm listening to on the floor by Jennifer Lopez... I'm not kidding, I think it's the only song I've ever heard that uses the word Tonka Truck® in a song.
Base (up close). Yeah, it took me a while to get the bottom. It was really tricky. I had to go back and do some battles with him on Platinum® to see how to do it... but it turned out all right!
Head. Also fairly good.
Pokemon gone wild!
Run Jared, before that lava plume hits you!
Ahh, watch out (insert name)!
Battle of the awesomes!
