Brickworld 2011 Photo Gallery: Day 1 . Day 1: Set Up! . Click here if you don't know what Brickworld is. I met a lot of builders and found many new friends at Brickworld 2011: Alex Ruiz, Ben Caulkins, Chris Phipson, Heath Flor, Tyler Halliwell, Abraham (last name I forget, unfortunately), Dave Kaleta, Anthony Dunne, Dave and John Xandegar, Andrew Somers, Cam M., Nannan Zhang, Tyler Clites, and Kevin Walter! If I missed you, I apologize. I didn't get a picture with everybody I met! Day 1 This is how I greeted Alex Ruiz: Ben Caulkins: Cool guy, my new best friend (not even kidding), and he is Master Chief. The Fall of New Alexandria collaboration under construction: My guns made it there: No matter how many signs I borrow, it's never enough to get the point across: Alex Ruiz, casually strolling in Master Chief's helmet: Do you see Wolverine...or two Batmen? This is the work of Chris Doyle: Space Police station: This minifigure scale submarine has a full interior! How Ben's Master Chief torso is supported: Coffee cups. Various mosaics: Please don't sing it: Umm...moving on. More of Reasonably Clever Chris: Your friends at MOCpages have assembled a massive and impressive Lord of the Rings display: Andrew Somers's recent diorama: By far my favorite diorama at Brickworld. Nominated for three awards but didn't win any of them...Kinda disappointing. Andrew Somers has teh pyoo pyoo. Also his prototypes bring all the Brickarms kiddies to the yard. This looks delicious: Oasis, completely assembled. The water rippled and was really cool to see. Ben's Master Chief + My Halo Weaponry = too much awesome: [Day 2][Day 3 & 4]
