AFTERMATH-Confirmed Existence-Episode 1 of Season 1 . AFTERMATH-Confirmed Existence-Episode 1 of Season 1 . Well, I really enjoyed making this episode! I hope you like it, its the very first episode so if you're not in it, don't worry about it, you will be later on. This episode features the city people and their fight for survival. The eight people walked anxiously down the road, eager to get to the new dwelling place Caleb had found. Caleb's dog, Jude, lead the way. They walked past a white car that had crashed into a light post, most likely a zombie had hit his window or something. A broken piano lay in the dust on the side of the road, dust had settled on top of it sense the bombing. Debris where littered in the dust. Caleb stopped in front of the door, "This is it!" He said, the group of survivors where clearly relieved. Jude pawed at the gate, just as eager to get into the safe-house. Caleb pushed the gate open. He stepped inside, followed by the others. He took a seat at the table. Marcus quickly sat down, not wanting to stand. The rest filed in the room. Sam and McCoy took the other Chairs. Jaren and Bob brought up the back. When Jess came in, Sam offered her his seat. She blushed slightly and said, "Thanks". Jaren closed the gate on the eerie street. Everyone gathered around the table, waiting to be briefed as Caleb had told them they'd be. Caleb breathed in and began, "Right now, we don't know whats still out there, or weather the bombing worked," he began, "but right now, we need to act as if the beasts are still out there. We all know what that means, go in pairs, sleep in shifts, guns always loaded, food in stalk, etc. This is a hard routine, but its gotta be done." No one groaned or moaned, this was their survival and they all knew it. Caleb continued, "There may be other survivors out there, fending for themselves, who knows. That is why I've decided we need a good sturdy van, or even bus. If we can find one, we can start looking for other people." People nodded their heads, it was a good idea. "Next, Bob," Caleb said, pointing at Bob. I'm going to quickly show you our medical room," Caleb said. "I'm going to quickly show you our medical room." Bob nodded. "The medical bed, its very high tech." "This device lets you take logs." "This desk is yours to use." "This is emergency communication equipment." "Hopefully, we'll be able to get medical stuff to go in those, oh and I recomend you leave the bag here, assuming it's got medical stuff in it." Bob placed the bag on the edge of the desk. When they got back, Caleb spoke about the matter of food, "We have a decent amount of food that we got from various places, but we still need to be sparing." "The crates are emergency food rations." "Why is there a bed down here?" Bob asked, pointing at the cot. "That is for the guard, whoever that may be. Everyone made their way toward the latter Caleb climbed up it.. Most of the people left their weapons on the stairs, but Manson kept his in his hands. Once everyone else was up, Sam helped Jess up the latter, "Thanks," she said again, a little awkwardly. Sam smiled in return. Jude was left to guard the gate. "This is what we will use if we can ever get any signal within a hundred miles," Caleb said, pointing at a plasma screen T.V. The machine had several other, small screens and panels as well. The kitchen was next, it was simple, just a fridge, two stoves, a vent above it, and a pot. Suddenly, Jude started howling and barking, jumping against the gate. Caleb ran out onto the porch, followed by Marcus. Running toward the Gate was the first beast they had seen sense the bombing. Marcus quickly ended its miserable life with a bullet to the head. Now Caleb's greatest fears had been confirmed- the bombing hadn't killed off the zombies, it'd made them angrier. TO BE CONTINUED..... Sorry no choices. Next episode will be in a week or so, not sure who it'll be about. Please rate and comment to support this series, thank you. -Caleb God Bless you.
