AFTERMATH-The Horde Awakes-Episode 2 of Season 1 . This contains blood and gore, proceed with caution . This episode contains lot's of gore and blood- If you are younger than 9, it is not advised to view this, or if you do, that you're parents will be viewing it with you. I am posting Episode 2 early because I will be gone to Xi'an to go to an event with my family and wont be able to post for a while-possibly up to two weeks. So don't expect episode 3 for a fair amount of time. Also-the people trying to leave North America will sadly, not be until episode 5 unless something happens and I say otherwise. Thank you Eric and Yapdap for the advice for where to put the text- so now the text goes BELLOW the picture. EPISODE 2 Parker and Jack where putting up part of a fallen street lamp in front of the garage door. Nathan and Eric brought back the last of the food they'd been able to salvage from the bombed house a few miles away. Michele put the last plank into the window. She stood back and admired her work. Christian sat up in the sniper post. Tabby finished putting up the small, almost pointless, walls on the small mound of rocks. The door's windows had been nailed down with planks. Tabby began to step down from the rocks She shrieked as a snake slithered by here feet. She ran away quickly, trying to get distance between her and the snake.. The outcast took a shot at it. The bullet hit the snake in the head. The shelter everyone was staying at had a small attic filled with food. Jack walked into the house. The floors had been ripped out to ensure there where no infected animals living there. He began to climb up the latter. He the climbed out the small window. And climb up the small chain leading to the sniper post. "Come on down, Christian, some kinda meeting 's 'bout to happen, ya need to be present, 'k?" Christian grunted his reply. Jack went back the slow way, climbing back through the window. Christian just slid down the roof. He hit the ground with now problem. Everyone gathered around the box of food that had be brought back. Tabby stood by the door, as if ready to bolt into the house and hide. The box was filled with fruit. Outcast spoke up. "We all need jobs in order to function as a group here. We all know Christian is a sniper, so he can go ahead back up." Christian walked back inside, grunting as he went. "Now, who would like to be the first line of defense?" There was a short silence before Nathan volunteered solemnly. Nathan began to walk toward the post. Before he got far, tabby stopped him. "Ummm, here's some coffee, you might need it to stay awake," she said quietly. "Oh, uh, thanks," Nathan replied slightly awkwardly. He went back to the post. "Uh, I'll go and watch the food make sure no zombies are hiding there..." Eric said suddenly. Then he walked away. "Oh, well we didn't really need that.... but sure, whatever," Outcast mumbled. "I'll take that there door, sense I got maself a shawtgun! Them zombies 'ell have not head before they can say "shawtgun!" Outcast and Adam weaver took the food inside. Meanwhile, Eric stuff packaged and canned food inside his bag. "Heh, this'll be useful later on..." Then he decided to take a nap. The last crate of food was put down next to the desk. Other food lined the shelves. The outcast stood at the other window while Jack took the door. Parker paced the room in anticipation. Adam tried to take a nap at the chair. Nathan waited in the cold at his outpost. He thought about Tabby and many other things while he waited. "She's cute," he thought,"but she's probably scared of her own shadow." he chuckled. Then he drifted to sleep. He woke when he heard Christian shouting to get him up, he jumped up, and saw several of the beasts running at his little outpost. Christian got into shooting range, and shot one in the back of the head. Blood exploded from the zombie's head at Nathan shot it. Nathan backed up to the edge of the rock as two zombies climbed over. He sent a bullet flying at one. One of them charged him. Nathan fell back, to avoid getting thrown off. Luckily the dead zombie bellow padded his fall. The other zombie hit Nathan has he fell. Nathan kicked him against the wall. Nathan dove for his gun. He started to turn around... Then BOOM! The bullet went straight through the zombie's head. Still, the zombie still landed on him. Other zombies closed in as he pushed the dead one off. Nathan finally got the body off. Nathan punched one of the zombies since his gun was still on the ground He grabbed his gun and ran. The zombie was just behind him. The zombie jumped, trying to catch Nathan before he got in the building. Luckily, Christian blew his head off before it got to him. Nathan hurried to the door. "LET ME IN! LET ME IN!" he shouted. "IT'S ME, NATHAN!" The horde was awoken and coming for the survivors. CHOICES Sorry I for got to add this earlier.... but here they are- For Christian Collins- A-Stay in the post and keep shooting B-get down inside C-Get the heck out of there (slide off the roof and run) For all the people in the house- A-Let Nathan in B-leave him, he might already be infected.
