Jihahli (September 2011) . A V2 of one of my best-liked characters. Also created a version of Tezra using a similar design. . While both Jihahli and Tezra went down fairly well before, I myself wasn't satisfied with them. Their proportions were off. First of all Akonians are meant to be a bit smaller than most toa MOCs anyway, and secondly their torsoes were too long for their limbs - a trap easy to fall into with my female body design. I remade them, more humanly proportioned. They don't dwarf Mezzinus and Harren now. Come to think of it, Harren also needs revamping. Perhaps even more desperately than these two did. With Jihahli, she's meant to be stranded on this desert undead-filled planet, so I felt the exposed trans-blue "skin" wasn't really appropriate for her. I amde her armour more like, well, armour. A complete suit, with a computer attatchment, shoulder antenna etc. Storyline-wise it's something she found on Necra Minor itself on one of the miners, so it makes sense perhaps. The thigh design I'm quite proud of, as well as shortening the stick-thin waist a bit and making her look more, well, humanoid. The pelvis armour for both of these MOCs is one of H2O650's techniques. Another thing I focused on is posability. Jihahli's legs didn't bend very much before, and the shoulders were a bit wierd. Better now. With Tezra, the exposed skin thing wasn't so bad. According to Me Ep, she's a bit more promiscuous and is a tokia on a rather verdant and rural moon. Instead of solid armour, hers has gaps, and a skirt, and some other bits to separate her from Jihahli's more industrial look. Since Tezra was already so similar to Jihahli in design from before, the revamp tended to go in a similar way. Made Tezra's arms and legs a bit bulkier. She is stronger after all. And the obligatory shot with Beta. ^^ Next up, more toa, lots of weapons, and my MOC-off with Ben Cossy!
