Why?
Moodland-Scale Figs: A How-To! . By request, here is a step-by-step post to show you how to build your own Moodland-scale figure! I hope no one thinks I'm being egotistical by naming a scale of figure after myself. These figures started out as a desire to build action-figure-scale characters out of Lego. They're really just bigger, more-articulated versions of Lego's Miniland-scale figs (hence the play-on-words name). So, for our purposes here, I decided to build a neutral colored figure with no certain stand-out details. When you build your own figs, a big part of their "look" will be coloring and certain details, depending on who or what you're building. Hopefully, this helps those of you interested in building your own "Moodland-Scale" figs! If you have any questions, please drop me a line:) . Here are the parts you'll need: 114 total for this figure. Legs Arms Torso Head And...Begin! This is the piece i normally use for noses, but you can use a hinge plate or no nose like miniland figs. And you're finished! As you can see, this figure design is VERY flexible. EXTRA INSTRUCTIONS: How to build a Moodland-Scale lightsaber (and so i can post this in SW groups)! Lego purists might want to look away for this one, since I have to cut a 4L bar in half to fill the inside of the blade properly.
