AAP-XI Landmaster . Mark 11 Amphibious Assault Platform 'Landmaster'. . G'day viewers, I humbly present a 6-wheeler infantry fighting vehicle built for a slightly futuristic war-game group here on MOCpages. It's role is to quickly and safely deploy rapid-response commandos and soldiers to hostile situations, and to provide more fire power to existing forces, which it is perfectly capable of doing with it's formidable weaponry. The 30mm cannon positioned at the back can rain hell upon enemy infantry positions, and obliterate soft-skinned and armored vehicles alike. Here are some stats: -Armament: 30mm cannon (180 rpm), .50 cal machine gun, and an array of smoke/tear-gas grenade launchers. -Speed: roughly 120 km/h over even terrain. -Crew: 12 total (1 driver, 1 gunner, 10 troops). -Capabilities: Rough terrain, water, sand, snow, etc. -Class:: Armored Personnel Carrier, Infantry Fighting Vehicle, Armored Combat Vehicle, etc. Back-ish, where you can see things like the rear hatch and propellers for amphibious transport... Close up of the 30mm and grenade launchers. Top. Hatch closed... And open. Told you it could fit 12 people :P And now for a couple of variants... This one is the basic logistics version... nothing special... And the Anti-Tank variant, armed with two TOW (or similar) anti-tank missile tubes, and complete with targeting array. Lastly, an outdoor shot, showing the Landmaster with the retractable protective plates covering the windows. Here is the picture I used as reference when building this... Thanks for looking!
