Callan, (Dark) Lord of Fire . One of the most powerful Toa of Fire and the leader of Ghetta Nui's most notorious gang, the Dark flame, nothing can stop Callan and his hellhounds from taking over the city. Enjoy! . Name: Callan Species: Matoran (Ta-Matoran) Element: Fire Titles: Toa, Dark Toa, Fallen Toa, Boss, Traitor Mask: Ruru-shaped Kakama, Mask of Speed Weapons: Fire Sword, Cane Theme Song: Sharp Dressed Man by ZZ Top Callan was a good and powerful Toa of Fire who woke up on the newly reformed Spherus Magna, with no memory of his past. He was trained by the Toa Mata and eventually became one of the most heroic Toa on the planet. For four thousand years, Callan protected Spherus Magna from many foes. Many of these enemies, in an attempt to corrupt Callan, offered him vast fortunes and power if he would join them. Callan refused every time, and he earned a reputation for being incorruptable. When a highly dangerous Makuta began to plague Spherus Magna, Callan was the first to volunteer to be on the Toa team sent to defeat the Makuta. Callan's brother, Davix, joined him, along with five other Toa. When they reached Stadta Nui, the city where the Makuta first appeared, they were ambushed by a horde of Rahkshi. The Toa were able to hold their own, but they were at a stalemate with the Rahkshi and could not advance and find the Makuta. Then Davix caught a glimpse of a strange figure on top of a distant building. It had to be the Makuta. Davix, realizing that once the Makuta was defeated, the Rahkshi would be rendered useless, told Callan to go after the Makuta. At Davix's order, Callan activated his Kakama and ran past the Rahkshi. Surprised by Callan, the Makuta was cought off guard. Callan quickly defeated him, and, as Callan was about to deal the final blow, the Makuta began to bargain with Callan. The age-old deals of gold and power bounced off Callan with a redundancy that made him slightly bored. Nothing could sway Callan's sense of justice. By then, however, Davix and the other Toa were able to get past the Rahkshi and had come to Callan's aid. Sensing Callan's distraction, the Makuta activated his mask, an Olmak, and opened a portal beneath him. As he was escaping, Callan realized what was happening and dove in after the Makuta. The portal closed, and neither Callan nor the Makuta were seen again for a millenium. In the underground tunnels of Ghetta Nui, a portal was opened, and Callan stepped through. He was different, somehow. He was evil and completely obsessed with gold. He kept to the shadows, and, through others, he corrupted the minds of Ghetta Nui's politicians and bent the economy to his will. With the Matoran of the city forming gangs out of desparation, Callan easily formed his own gang which quickly rose to power. Of course, Callan only allowed his most loyal followers to know his true identity, and he therefore remained unknown to the Toa Ghetta. One by one, the Dark Flame killed off the Toa of Ghetta Nui, until only Solunus remained. Now, with only Solunus in Callan's way of total, city wide domination, the Dark Flame is tearing the city apart to find the only one who can stop Callan. Only time will tell if Callan can find Solunus before Solunus finds Callan... Callan and his Hellhounds, Greed and Malice. Greed and Malice are Hellhounds, a rather aggressive and rare species of Rahi that live in volcanic mountain ranges. They each wear a Kraahkan, the Mask of Shadows, which is why, according to some scholars, the Hellhounds are so evil. Greed, the younger of the two. Greed is clever, selfish, and completely obsessed with shiny objects. He has been known to kill Matoran who are important enough to see Callan in person, but wear a mask that is too ornate. His mask is golden, which is fitting because gold is what always seems to be on Greed's mind, both figuratively and literally. Spines. Hellhounds reach full size very quickly in their lives, so the best way to guess their age is by the length of their razor-sharp back spikes. Back view. Malice is Callan's other Hellhound. The older of the two, Malice is less concerned with treasure and is simply evil for the sake of being evil. He has been known to kill Matoran who are important enough to see Callan in person, but are just downright unlucky. The face of evil. What's that? A movie edition Kraahkan? No wonder Malice doesn't care for gold, he's got it made! Be Jealous, Clockwork. Be very Jealous. ;) As you can see, Malice is quite a bit older than Greed. And another back view. Here he is, ladies and gentlemen! Callan himself! Callan: Oh yeah, I'm bad! Torso and head. Callan is pretty much completely custom, except for the head and feet, and the upper arms if you don't count Rahkshi shins as custom. Fear the claws! Legs. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. They're a bit awkward to pose, but they are beefy and cool. Back view. Gotta love gold! That connecter from the last picture is where he keeps his sword. Callan: Hmm, should I kill you now, or kill you later? Sword time! Usually, I give Ghetta Nui characters guns, but it seemed that such a powerful gang leader doesn't need to do all the dirty work, so he shouldn't need a gun. More swordsy goodness. Flying evil ninja pose. Solunus: Hey Callan! Brofist? Callan: Sure, why not? Callan: Hahaha, you fell for the oldest trick in the book! Sucka! Callan: Bye, and don't forget to rate and comment, or I'll make sure you end up like this guy. Solunus: ...oooooohhhh.... Well, that's that! Now Ghetta Nui has a main antagonist, and a rather awesome one at that. Credit goes to Callan for his Self-MOC, as well as the name Stadta-Nui. Callan also uploaded the pictures for me when my uploader wasn't working (it's working now, as you can see by the fact that the MOC has a main pic), so extra props for that, Cal! Also, a special thanks to Cossy and Clockwork, who urged me to buy the movie edition Kraahkan off of Ebay. Thanks for showing me that awesome deal, guys! Thanks for viewing, and let me know what you think!
