Motorized tank WIP 3 . My next installment in my motorized tank WIP series. It may look like it, but there isn't much change from the last. The biggest thing added, though, is the turret rotating mechanism, which works, okay. . This system works alright. Those plates that are in the main pic, those are there sort of to keep the motor from being airborne. It works alright, but the axle in the motor is being bent bicause the gear is a little to large it fit in. But it works, and can be restrained, so it fits my bill. A REAL special thanks to George Staples who was nice enough to comment and give an answer to my question on my WIP 2. Thanks George! A side view where you can more or less see the gears. From the axle to right, 8 tooth, then a twelve tooth, and then a some amount gear. And a back view, showing the turn table. Literally, where that motor is, just behind and around it, there are 15 WIRES going around there. They range from IR reciever to lights. It was a real challenge to dodge around them.
