Complete Pet Shop Street . Two more narrow houses completing my little block around the Pet Shop plus road with tram tracks. . First some full views: (By the way, these photos are hosted on Flickr click here for the set. That should reduce the load on MOCpages' image server a bit...) A cut-off brook good thing that's no real water. ;) At the time I built this, the plan was to have the water run towards the back. According to the current plans, though, this will have to change once more... Looking down the street: Lets have some closer looks on the street: Notice that I modified the new recycling container truck (4206) a little it's now got a crane which makes more sense than having a forklift following it around everywhere... A subway entrance wouldn't it be silly not to make use of the height? :) A shop for souvenirs and odds and ends in one of the new houses: And a travel agency at the corner: Before we get inside, let's look at the new houses again: Inside the travel agency: Upper floor: An apartment, here's the living room... ...with kitchen corner: And above that the bedroom and bathroom: The shop for souvenirs (picture postcards outside) and odds and ends puppets of astronauts and mummies seem to be selling well... On the floor above, we see a psychiatrist's secretary: And one set of stairs higher, the psychiatrist is talking to a patient. (Would you believe me if I told you that using this two-sided head for the psychiatrist was no accident but meant to show that he'd rather run away screeming? No? You're right. :) ) And here's the interior of the betting office the green copy of the Pet Shop that was still empty last time: Whoops, the betting office's computer crashed and all the monitors are showing a bluescreen instead of live results and odds from sports events around the world and the customers are quite irate. (Disclaimer: I'm not saying that's a typical behavior for bettors. But you can run into violent a**holes anywhere.) I don't think kicking a crashed computer will help anything... And here are a few photos from during the building process: At this earlier stage the water was still or already flowing towards the front.
