Ratchet . Operator! Give me the number for 911! . With this particular creation, I began to focus on a simple design for this particular character. I felt that the good doctor needed to be built with what he was mostly known for. Parts of it I'd like to point out are the "door wings" behind his shoulders, a design aspect I have noticed a lot Transformer characters have. I also gave him a Bionicle Midak Skyblaster because it just looked a lot like the Energon Repair Ray from War For Cybertron, which by the way was the game that inspired me to collect all three of these guys. My personal favorite parts of this set were the hand pieces. They have the same function as a 2x2 pinned brick but have been sculpted to look like fists specifically sculpted for the left or right. The things are just genius on Hasbro's part I gotta say. One part of the design I couldn't help myself with was that he was taller than Prime. I felt that he should at least be the same height or less, but the whole thing just went so well I decided to just brush off that feeling and just go with it. I also tried to find a good place to put the "medic" stickers, but his insignia was already over a medical cross thus solving the problem by itself. And I'm not into using stickers as much until I feel I really need to put them. So that's it for the Autobots. The next Transformers MOC I'm planning to work on will be for the Decepticons. Looking forward to what I can use with Megatron's claws.
