The Quest: Episode Four . At long last, the new Quest episode is here! After way too much procrastination and some legit excuses, you can find out what happens next! Most of these sets were built by Annie, so give credit to her. Also, there are no choices for the CYOA participants this episode, but make sure you check back into the group to let us know you're still playing, or next episode you're character will be killed off =D . Previous episodes: Episode 1 Episode 2 Episode 3 Last episode the Castlers found themselves lost in a desert after going through a portal. They decided to take the long walk to a grove of trees, where water was sure to abide. But they would be sure to exercise extreme caution on their trek. However, the caution was tossed to the oven-like wind as they approached the grove. Suiauthon: "Praise be to any passing deity that hears my cry! Water at last!" Mark Aarons: "Never has water tasted so good!" Bobert: *Glug, glug, glug* Calebran: "Ummmm, guys... I think we have company..." Mystery woman: "Foreign dogs, this desert is mine! And thus so are you!" Alistana: "Boys, get your weapons ready... we can take them, there's only three." Bobert: "she's... almost naked!" Mystery woman: "I would warn against that, you're surrounded..." "...Resistance would only hasten your inevitable death." PART TWO: In the last episode, the villagers were told by Backwater Dwarves that the Barbarians were near by, and could easily be overcome. However, Norin the dwarf warned against his grimy distant cousins... ... And decided to follow them alone. Norin: *Huff, huff, huff* Norin: "Blast it, where are these blighters going?" Barbarian: "Grrr, here come those half grown coal pickers, here's to hoping they did what they were payed for." Norin: "Those dastards... Never trust a backwater dwarf..." Barbarian Chief: "Well, well, well! Our midgets are back! Now tell me shorty, did you find them?" Backwater Dwarf: "Aye, aye sar! We's did joost that!" Barbarian chief: "Good, good, good... Arm the men captain! We got some fight'n to do!" Ten minutes later... Norin: "Quick! *Huff* Get ready!" Derith: "Norin, catch your breath." Norin: "No time, they've got a whole bloody army coming!" PART THREE: In the last episode the Outlaws stumbled into the high council of the Great Ones, where they were asked to join Corlendar, the renegade Great One, in rebellion. They decided to join him, after which he beckoned them through his portal. Corlendar: "I know this is all very sudden, but you must trust me. Where I have brought you to now, is the Hall of Worlds..." "...We are near the end of it now, but it stretches on behind us for hundreds of miles." Evan: "This is amazing! Never have I seen the like!" Michael: "Surely built by the gods themselves!" Corlendar: "Not quite gods, but certainly beings greater then yourself. The Hall was built by an ancient and mighty civilization, as a way to easily travel their empire, an empire that stretched across space and time. Now it is mainly used for trading and travel..." "...Behind each door is a whole world! Some brand new and teaming with life, others crumbling after a millenia of decades of existence, others not even yet in existence." Owl: "Sir, I'm not being funny, but why bring a bunch of outlaws to a place like this?" Corlendar: "For you to fulfill your destiny!" Owl: "Right..." Lewic: "And what lies behind those gates? It looks like a garden?" Corlendar: "That, child, is not for mortals to know." Lewic: "But it looks harmless! Like just a flower garden." Corlendar: "Looks can deceive." Corlendar: "This is the door through which you shall pass, what lies behind it, is for you to find out." Evan: "Well, here goes nothing..." Ok! This was a somewhat short episode, but it's really just to get things moving again. Remember, those of you participating in the CYOA, make sure to mention in the group that you still want to do this. Also, I'll get around to putting music in it later, short on time right now. Tell me what you think! And feel free to ask questions, I realize it could be a bit hard to follow.
