Heavy Metal . This is my first attempt at a mech. It is also a challenge to myself to be resourceful. Unfortunately, I don't have any of the wonderful joint pieces that you find in Bionicle or Hero Factory. All I have are your basic Technic connectors. The joints have, regretably, been locked into the positions you see because there's too much weight for any of the joints to support, which is actually where this build got its name. (That, and "Heavy Plastic" sounds kind of wimpy). Hope you like it. Please rate it and let me know what you think. . Rear view. Close up of the gun. Close up of the claw. Feet. Rear view of the greebling on the legs. A shot with the mechanic and the maintenence bot for an idea of scale.
