Le Corbusier's Villa Savoye . Miniscale of the Villa Savoye, which is considered by many to be the seminal work of the Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier. Situated at Poissy, outside of Paris, it is one of the most recognisable architectural presentations of the International Style. Created for CuuSoo in order to be edited by LEGO after mass support. . You can no more support this project on CUUSOO, but you could go on LEGO IDEAS to see it, by cliking here. After the front view of the villa, this photo shows you the garden side where a micro-minifigure takes place. With this point of view, you can see the real interest of villa. More than a modern and ascetic house, the villa is rich of catch-light open space with large windows. The roof is a place to live with solarium and greenery. In fact, the ramp goes through the villa's floors with a inside-outside circulation which is the leitmotiv of this architecture. A cover space is created with the main atrium of the villa, which gives the opportunity to take site even during the rain season. A close view of the solarium, the modified brick (# 30165) is hand made from one tile and two rounded top windows (# 30044) ... 'cause LEGO didn't produced it in white. Another close view, where the micro-minifigure gives to us the right scale of a human being. This built might be in the architecture range of LEGO, I thought. I realy love this Villa. If you want more information about her, you can go to the site of the foundation of Le Corbusier.
