"my Own" legoformers autobot "Optimus Prime" LDD . Autobot Leader Optimus Prime . ok it would be fair to thank Chris Roach, while this isn't a direct copy of his mini TF frame, some elements are similar. The basic "look" is intended to be Cybertronian, but I have to admit the results do remind me strongly of the animated version (one of my favourites) but there are large aspects that don't fit. This is not a copy of any existing version of Prime from any current continuity, so any critique should take this into account, it is MY idea of what Prime would look like in MY fan fiction. That said the limbs need some work. It is obvious to me that the legs are lacking. They need to be much longer, particularly below the knee. They could also benefit from beefing up a bit, they give him a quite small footprint, hardly what we've come to expect from the matrix bearer. I'm happy (ish) with the arms, but maybe need to do something about the hands and maybe the shoulder at the joint with the main body. there are also a lot of visible studs, I'd prefer it to be largely studless from the front. To Accommodate the transformation there is a huge empty space between the shoulder blades. I'll need to think about ways I might fill that without impeding the transformation. But as things stand, anything viewed from the rear is not an issue. Weapons?! I'm going to compare how other MOCers have tackled his iconic blaster. That said I don't want to just copy. I also would like it to be incorporated into the vehicle form if possible. Which (depending on how I retool the legs) might not be too difficult.
