DNS Dominator . My First creation after a loooong time, An Aircraft Carrier. Based off WW2 Fleet Carriers. . Sorry for the lower quality photos, but my camera wasn't working and i had to take pictures with a phone. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a fleet carrier supposed to be in WW2 era. It has MOVING ELEVATORS!!! It took a HUGE amount of trial and error to get them to work. I also made a Destroyer to provide as an escort, but more about that later. I did make an interior, but i will add pictures of that when i dismantle this ship. Technical info: 74 studs long 12 studs wide 13 bricks high Weighs 1.5kg (empty) Armament: 100 Aircraft - 40 Fighters-(8 squadrons), 35 Dive bombers-(7 squadrons), 25 Torpedo bombers-(5 squadrons). 2 5" Anti-ship guns 4 3" Anti-Aircraft guns. PHOTOS: Front Back Left side Right side Top Hangar deck, U can also see part of the elevator mechanism. 3 Aircrafts - Fighter, Dive-Bomber, Torpedo-Bomber. Front Elevator in the down position showing the hinge bricks - The hinge bricks slide on the flat plates and that makes the elevator go up and down, i will add a moc on how to do it later. Front elevator in the down position with the deck covered Island, notice the dual 5" gun at the front of the island and the 3" guns on the top. Another picture of the island, The black part is the chimney. Rear elevator in the down position. Arresting cables (A bit too big) Rudders and propellers, This ship has 4 props and 2 rudders. Air Intake for the Engines Elevator operation - WATCH THE HINGE BRICKS! Elevator operation - WATCH THE HINGE BRICKS! Elevator operation - WATCH THE HINGE BRICKS! Aircraft - 3 different types - (from foreground to background) Fighter, Dive bomber, Torpedo bomber. Rudders and propellers. THANK YOU
