Morgoth's Flying Dragon . . This Moc started life as an upscale of my Black dragon. As with the Black dragon the new ninjago prop blades were the initial focus for some sweet looking wings. It was a fun build and suprisingly I had most of the pieces needed. I did have to order 60 gold horns and some black binoculars. The tail design is based om Mike Nieves Horntail. I made most of the overall structure and my son did all the clips and horns. After I finished the Dragon I decided he needed a some treasure to guard. The dragonis big, and I do not have alot of bricks for architecture so I was limited in the scene, but it came out okay. I also got some lEDs to light up the fire. The title is a reference to Tolkien's writings about the creation of flying Dragon's by the evil spirit Morgoth. I figured a Wyvern could be included among the flying dragons. Photographing this large moc was tough to since my light tent is designed for smaller objects, and I have a lack of large white backgrounds.
