225th Legion-Mission 1-An Unsuspecting Target . My build for the first mission of the 225th Legion. Buzz Droids have been found on multiple ships, and we feel our ship has been compromised as well... . 225th Legion Main Group. Join now! Flickr Photostream, some pics of the moc are here in higher resolution. Log of CT-1265 "Trench" above Bothawui. "We had gotten some info from other ships in our fleet saying that Buzz Droids had been spotted on board. Most of them had been destroyed or disabled before any main damage was caused to the Venators, but our Flagship Retinence was hit hard. Their main comms relay was taken out, so the entire fleet disabled lightspeed and stopped above Bothawui. There we got a few ditress signals coming from inside the reactor-room of my squads'Consular-Class Cruiser, named the Liberty . Jaeger Squad was called down to the reactor room, and boy did we get a surprise... "The men and I were making a check in the reactor-room when we heard a thud. When we walked in a Bomb Trooper, on leave from the 212th, had been thrown over the railing." "I had Storm check the body, the trooper was dead. I had a strange feeling we were being watched, but I just wasn't sure." "We never saw them coming, but it didn't take long to dismantle the CIS scrap. A few well placed shots took out a Buzz Droid that attacked me, all thanks to Dyno. Another had sabotaged the main computer that controls the ships' turbolasers. It didn't take long to hook up, but we cleared the area and disposed of the droids within 10 minutes. I'm sure glad my men have been so helpful to me. Reach got up and fixed the main turbolaser computer, and we were ready to go again. Trench out." Here is a small shot of the vignette. Those Engines from the new Republic Cruiser sure make good reactors. Overview of the vig. The overall feel of the moc was partially inspired by Deff's recent builds. The top level, wish the Turbolaser controls and the main Reactor controls. Close-up of the Buzz Droid. All my design, but little did I realize it looks a lot like BrickBrothers 98 's Buzz Droid Design . Here we have the moc without my squad. The SNOT floor took up all of my light gray tiles, and the flexi-tubes used as hoses also took up a good amount of my Dark Bley ones. Here is my custom Buzz Droid, feel free to use the design. Credit must be given though. :P I love the use of the minifig hand for it's cutting utensils. Well, I know this isn't Lego, but I couldn't resist. As of yesterday, I now am the proud owner of a 2011 YCF Classic Pilot Pit Bike. It has a 150cc 4-Stroke Motor. Very touchy throttle response. Well, this was a quick build. Maybe an hour total. Next project is to complete my next MocAthalon Entry. Comments and Constructive Criticism are appreciated as always. KP out!
