Rise of the Legend 09: The Kashyyyk Affair (Part 1) . . The Jedi Temple, roughly one year after the events in Rise of the Legend 8. Yaddle: "In trouble the Wookies are. Invaded by pirates Kashyyyk has been. Your help I will need on this mission." Saesee Tiin: "I gladly give my help." Yarael Poof: "As do I." The other Jedi nodded their agreement. Yaddle: "Good, waiting in the hangar our ship is." The conference room aboard the Jedi shuttle. Ki-Adi-Mundi: "Kashyyyk has always been vulnerable. The Wookies great strength makes them highly desired amongst the slave trade." Michel Kringe: "A disgusting trade." Yarael Poof: "We will all need to keep up our strength if we are gain a total victory today. I suggest we all retire to meditate or sleep." Yaddle: "Agreed." The Jedi walked out of the room slowly but Ki held back and indicated that Hara should do the same. Ki-Adi-Mundi: "How are you Hara?" Harash Soru: "I am well thank you Master Mundi." Ki-Adi-Mundi: "You have changed much since I first saw you. Master Yaddle has done an excellent job in training you." Harash Soru: "Thank you Master." Ki-Adi-Mundi: "I often wonder how you might have turned out under my training. Or the training of the other Council Members for that matter. There was a great dispute over who should train you." Harash Soru: "There was?" Ki-Adi-Mundi: "Indeed Hara. You are well liked by many of the Masters. Master Piell for example wished to train you as did Master Tiin and Master Poof." Harash Soru: "I am flattered Master." Ki-Adi-Mundi: "I think we made the right choice in the end however. You are growing into a great Jedi. Anyway, I have kept you to long. You best go and get some rest." Hara bowed slowly and left the room, smiling at his older friend. Hara sat before his lightsaber, focusing on the weapon and all the war it had already seen. Saesee Tiin: "Don't let the past run your life Hara." Harash Soru: "Master Tiin?" Saesee Tiin: "The Past is just that Hara. What you do now is what matters, never forget that." Harash Soru: "I wont Master." Saesee Tiin: "Good. We are coming in to land." The ship touched down gently on the wooded planet and the Jedi made their way over to the nearby Wookie village where they were shown to the Chief's hut. Yaddle: "Greetings, Master Yaddle I am. Here to help we are." Yaddle quickly introduced her fellow Jedi to which the Wookie chief Yurbekki greeted each one graciously. Yurbekki: Yurbekki quickly explained the situation. Two weeks ago an unknown ship had landed in the forests. Shortly afterwards there had been raids on villages where both supplies and Wookies had been stolen away. The Wookies were safe in their villages but dared not go out into the forests where the pirates could pick them off slowly. Yaddle: "Hmm, investigate the invaders first, we will. Padawan, with Master Ki search the Forest you will." Harash Soru: "Yes Master, we will return shortly." Yurbekki: Harash Soru: "As you wish." The band of four stalked quietly through the forest until they came to a small clearing. Harash Soru: "Master, look!" Ki-Adi-Mundi: "Yes, I see it." A group of pirates were gathered around a collection of chests. Amongst their ranks was a young Wookie cub. Harash Soru: "What should we do Master?" Ki-Adi-Mundi: "This mission is yours Hara. The decision rests with you." Hara nodded, reaching for his lightsaber. Harash Soru: "Then we attack!" The Jedi and Wookies jumped out of their hiding place and charged the surprised pirates. Hara watched in awe as the Wookies broke into the fight. He had heard stories and studied the lore, but seeing one of the massive creatures tearing into a fully grown Gamorrean with ease was a sight to behold. The battle was over almost instantly and the Jedi hurried over to the Wookie. Ki-Adi-Mundi: "He seems unhurt." Harash Soru: "Master..." Ki-Adi-Mundi: "Yes, the Force is strong in this child." Yurbekki: Hara's comlink suddenly began beeping. Harash Soru: "Yes?" Michel Kringe: "Hara, we need you back at the village now." Harash Soru: "On my way Master." Hara deactivated the holopad and turned to Ki. Ki-Adi-Mundi: "You go Hara, I can clean up here." Harash Soru: "Thank you Master." Hara hurried through the forest to the coordinates that Master Kringe had given him. Harash Soru: "Master! I'm here I..." Hara came to a stop, his eyes narrowing in surprise. Harash Soru: "You!" Irvin Mard: "Welcome Soru, to your destruction."
