Brickbeard vs the Octopus . . I have a few large mocs in the works at the moment, but I wonít be able to finish them until a couple more Bricklink orders arrive. So, this morning I decided to throw together a little 16x16 vignette just to feel like Iíve actually finished something. I used hinge bricks to attach the tentacles to the base, so while this was a very simple moc, it has a surprising amount of playability. Iím not sure how Captain Brickbeardís going to get out of this predicament, but Iím sure weíll be seeing him again. Meanwhile, back in my living room Achu waits patiently for more bricks to arrive. The jungles around Lego Tenochtitlan have grown silent since construction on the Lego Aztec pyramid ground to a halt. Inside the subterranean superstructure, the workers wonder how long theyíll have to wait for that 32x32 tan baseplate to show up. Hopefully we'll have more photos to share next week. Until then, thanks for stopping by!
