Rohan Sword . This is my first attempt at building a sword. I wanted to do something from LOTR, so I choose to do a Rohan sword. Mainly because it didn't require having to build a crosspiece. The sword is surprisingly strong, and I can swing it like a regular sword, as long as I do not hit anything with it. Some of the pictures below have a little bit of glare in them. Sorry about that. Enjoy! . The hilt. I am especially proud of the pommel. A close up of the circular section the hilt. The blue piece in the center should be green, but it didn't look good with the sword, so this worked better. The circle crosspiece (if you could call it that) and the hilt. The bottom of the sword. The whole sword. Me holding the whole sword, and showing how big it is. Special thanks to Christopher for taking the photos for me and editing with me. Soli Deo Gloria! -Matthew- edit: BLOGGED BY reBrick!
