The Fighting Uruk-Hai . . Uruk-Hai there!... Never mind. Anyway, I whipped up a small diorama recently to show off the new LOTR 'figs, plus I wanted to experiment with some landscaping. Usually I only build snowscapes and deserts due to my measly foliage collection, and even this small MOC used up almost all of my plants. Still, I think it turned out okay, and gave me some experience with the genre. This is a scene depicting two Rohirrim facing a force of Uruk-Hai. I tried out Katie Walker's leaf weaving technique for a couple of the trees. Above. The river is one of my favourite parts, even though I feel that it's not somber enough for this MOC. The use of cheese for water was inspired by George G. This photo highlights the interesting reflective quality of the cheese. Another view. Thanks for stopping by!
